Scientology Information Center Helps Businesses Survive Economic Hardship

Monthly business receptions seek to help Clearwater prosper

To contribute to the stability and prosperity of the Clearwater community and counter predicted recession, the Scientology Information Center has instituted monthly business receptions on the second Wednesday of each month. Here, locals from diverse walks of life and business backgrounds from banking, law, beauty and entertainment to engineering, fashion, food services and marketing can network, expand their contacts and create new businesses avenues.

“In times of financial stress, people and businesses need new ways to make themselves known and get their business moving,” said Amber Skjelset, Scientology Information. “The Scientology Information Center started hosting complementary monthly business receptions to help create a strong and vibrant city through strengthening local businesses.”

Those attending received a complimentary copy of The Problems of Work book-on-film DVD, based on the book of the same title by L. Ron Hubbard. The book provides effective solutions for immediate application to common workplace difficulties such as stress, confusion, exhaustion and adverse interpersonal relationships.

These monthly business receptions began in November 2015, shortly after the Center’s opening in July 2015. Over the past nine months, the Center has welcomed some 8,000 visitors to the Information Center, where anyone may visit, get their questions answered about Scientology, and attend events of benefit to the community.

The Scientology religion was founded by humanitarian and philosopher, L. Ron Hubbard. The first Church of Scientology was formed in the United States in 1954 and has expanded to more than 11,000 churches, missions and affiliated groups, with millions of members in 167 nations.
