Volunteers from the Church of Scientology and The Way to Happiness Association of Tampa Bay join North Greenwood residents in another neighborhood cleanup.
Tampa, FL, April 20, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Scientology News reports on volunteers from the Church of Scientology are celebrating their community contributions which contributed to lowering North Greenwood's crime rate. A recent Pinellas County report shows a 56 percent drop in crime since it peaked in July 2015. North Greenwood is a Clearwater, Florida, municipal zone of over 7,000 residents located half a mile from Coachman Park.
North Greenwood residents and volunteers from The Way to Happiness Association of Tampa Bay, the Church of Scientology and the Foundation for a Drug Free World continue to carry out neighborhood cleanups—one of 20 strategies named by the National Crime Prevention Council for reducing crime in a community.
Volunteers also distribute copies of The Way to Happiness to residents and business owners. The commonsense guide to better living written by humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard provides a moral compass. It has brought calm to communities torn by violence, peace to areas ravaged by civil strife and self-respect to millions of individuals.
Cleanup volunteers rally at the Martin Luther King Jr., Community Center and target specific neighborhood locations.
