German Scientology Churches Mark Holocaust Remembrance Day

Citizens Commission on Human Rights museum in Los Angeles and Clearwater, Florida, (shown here) has documented Nazi psychiatrists role in the Holocaust, also available through the CCHR website.

In keeping with the U.N. mandate to develop educational programs to prevent future genocides, Scientology Churches in partnership with Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) chapters shown the harsh light on psychiatric roots of the Holocaust.

Holocaust Memorial day was commemorated by Scientology Churches in Germany with forums, a vigil and information booths on the theme: Psychiatry—Precursor and Architect of Mass Murder.

These programs were in keeping with the United Nations mandate that every member state to honor the victims of the Nazi era by developing educational programs to help prevent future genocides.

The United Nations set aside January 27th to commemorate the Holocaust, marking the day in 1945 that Soviet soldiers liberated the notorious Nazi Auschwitz concentration.

These International Holocaust Remembrance Day programs were organized in coordination with local chapters of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), whose research into to roots of the genocide revealed the source of the Nazi genocide blueprint:

·      German psychiatrists created the “racial hygiene” movement.

·      The passage of the 1933 Sterilization Act in Nazi Germany gave psychiatrists in Germany license to murder tens of thousands of people they considered “racially or mentally unfit.”

·      These same psychiatrists helped establish the killing centers of the Holocaust.

In November 2010, Dr. Frank Schneider, president of the German Association of Psychiatrists, issued a public apology for psychiatry’s creation of the ideology that developed Nazi euthanasia and their role in the selection of those to be murdered as well as murdering others themselves.

In Berlin, the Church held an event where a psychiatrist spoke of Nazi psychiatric crimes. She is the granddaughter of a resistance fighter who became a victim of them Nazis. In her presentation, she covered the child psychiatric “euthanasia” killings followed by the mass killing of adult mental patients, gassed in six psychiatric hospitals.

Scientology in Munich and Stuttgart staged vigils in memory of psychiatric victims: from the Holocaust to today.

Volunteers from Scientology Churches in Hamburg, Frankfurt and Stuttgart set up booths where they distributed information on the Nazi/psychiatry genocide connection.

Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is a nonprofit charitable mental health watchdog co-founded in 1969  by the Church of Scientology and professor of psychiatry emeritus, the late Dr. Thomas Szasz.  It is dedicated to eradicating psychiatric abuses and ensuring patient protection.

With headquarters in Los Angeles, California, CCHR International guides a global human rights advocacy network of some 200 chapters across 34 nations.
