Church of Scientology will host annual awards presentation event to honor those whose volunteer work improves the quality of life for those living in the greater Tampa Bay area.
Clearwater, FL, March 17, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The Charity Coalition will host a special dinner April 20 in celebration of National Volunteer Month to honor Bay Area nonprofits and their volunteers. The awards ceremony will take place at the historic Fort Harrison, an international religious retreat of the Church of Scientology.
April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month throughout the United States—a time to recognize volunteers for their dedication and contribution to their communities.

Volunteers from participating nonprofit organizations will be awarded for their contribution to the community. Bob Dillinger, Public Defender 6th Judicial Circuit will be keynote speaker and the evening will include dinner and entertainment.
The Church of Scientology established the Charity Coalition in September 2014 and the Church hosts bi-monthly luncheons in the Fort Harrison for like-minded individuals to network and collaborate on community service. Open to all executives, volunteers and board members of nonprofits, the Charity Coalition has hosted over 1,100 members at their events.
Bay area nonprofits are welcome to attend the awards presentation event and are encouraged to enter the names of their most dedicated volunteers to be recognized at the dinner.
