Drug prevention conference at Church of Scientology stresses participation and a practical approach to reversing drug trends

Through information stands and drug prevention open house events, the Church of Scientology is committed to reaching the youth of Hamburg with the truth about drugs.

With contrary information on the subject of marijuana coupled with alarming statistics showing dramatically increased use of the drug in L.A., the Church of Scientology of Los Angeles invited the Foundation for a Drug-Free World and several distinguished community leaders to shed light on this contentious subject.

According to a recent study, drug use is down among teens, showing how real change can happen when organizations and community leaders unite to tackle one of society's biggest problems.

Since opening their new Florida headquarters in July 2015, Center staff announced: · Over 4,200 visitors toured the Center; 86,000 of their Truth About Drugs materials have been distributed throughout the Tampa Bay area; · The group has partnered with 88 other organizations; · They reached almost 94,000 people through media, events and presentations.
